Dear Friends;

Greetings to you for the month of April. This is not the best time of
the year for us here as the weather is very hot. It will stay hot until the
rains start sometime next month. So right now it is hot and dry. The kids
here just finished a 2 week vacation over the Easter holidays. They went to
school last week and now they will be off school for another 10 days. There
is a very bad outbreak of swine flue here in Mexico. The president of
Mexico has order all public gatherings and schools to be closed until the
6th of May. We will see then if things look better. Please be praying that
no more people will be infected by this virus.

For a week in March we had 12 people down from the States for a week
of work and fellowship with the kids. This group normally comes from the
North Industry Christian Church, Canton, Ohio. But this year the group was
made up of people from 4 different States. Two were from Florida, four were
from North Carolina, one was from South Carolina and the rest were from
Canton, Ohio. They all came as a group and were lead by Tim Thorn of the
North Industry Church. This church has been coming down to help out for a
week now for the last 9 years. They had a major project this year of mixing
by hand and pouring 2 inches of cement on the roof of one of our houses.
Another major project was painting the inside of the house were the kids
live. They also bought a freezer for the Home and a new bathroom sink for
the girl's bathroom. If you would like to come down sometime and do not
feel you want to come alone, contact Tim Thorn, and plan to come down next
